Crown Promenade & Cafe Baci (Day2, part1)

CROWN CASINO...  When I hear the word "Crown" in Melbourne, first thing come up in my mind is of course casino and a five star hotel and that's pretty much it.  But in fact, it's much much more than that, a world class casino with a massive entertainment complex and few numbers of luxury hotels, top-notch restaurants and cafes within the Crown's complex and they all can be linked with the air bridge.  Talking about the hotel room, it is absolutely flawless and comfortable, on top of that A-MILLION-DOLLAR-VIEW from the room will ensure you have a really pleasant stay.  The service was friendly and attentive too.

Café Baci

Open: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Not a nice looking weather for a Christmas morning.  Unlike you guys in Sydney, down here we got a terrible storm.  So, we try to hide inside the Crown's complex, and that's probably the best choice as not much cafes or restaurants open on the Christmas day anyway, however that thing would never happen to a casino!!!!

I was in the mood of cafe today and this Italian cafe on the riverside looked very alluring.  Totally the right place in the right moment.

Iced Chocolate

Cleopatra Chamomile Tea
The tea has a fragrant and strong sweet smelling flower.  It is pleasantly enjoyable and soothing.

Baci King's Breakfast $19.90
This dish is really really gooood.  All items on the plate are cooked perfectly and the most important thing is all the elements on the dish are my favourite.  What more can I ask??  Yeah... I'm a happy Octie now.

Bacon and Egg Focaccia
This dish is basically something like my big breakfast but without sausage and mushroom and all items are sandwiched together.  So in the bottom line...  Of course my dish is way better.

  1. I've always wanted to stay there because it's so well known in Melbourne and so many huge events are held there. It looks like you had a wonderful time.
